Bitcoins are sent instantly after your transaction is complete at the terminal, having said that a transaction can take anywhere between 10 minutes to 2 hours to confirm and bitcoins usually do not show up in your wallet until a transaction is confirmed. That is why it sometimes take a little longer to receive your bitcoin, you can always check status of your transaction by searching your wallet address on a blockchain explorer (easily found at google).
